## How to get there

Sulphur Point is within walking distance of central Rotorua, at the edge of Government Gardens on the Lake Rotorua shoreline. Free parking is available at Government Gardens and along the lakefront, and the boardwalk trail continues from there to Motutara Point. The full lakeshore walk takes around two hours return; a shorter loop from the gardens is possible for those with less time. No shuttle is needed, as the site is accessible on foot from Rotorua's town centre.
